Hello,
I decided to make my first blog post about why I love this area. When you are looking for a realtor making sure they know the market, understand valuation and hard work are very important. However, that doesn’t always convey the passion and appreciation that drive a professional.
St. Helen is where my family spent a great deal of time in the summers in a cabin my great grandfather built. In fact, my roots go generations back in Roscommon County. My great, great grandfather was a graduate of Gerrish-Higgins High School. My parents met up here while my mom was visiting the cabin in St. Helen. Growing up, most of our weekends were spent there.
Prior to moving north, we lived in Howell for the past 13 years but had a dream of building our own place in the Roscommon area. When Covid disrupted the world, my husband was able to work from home. We had a family meeting and asked the kids if they wanted to move where we vacation? To my surprise they all said yes!
We put our home up for sale and I’m happy to say we took the leap. Living here is better than we dreamed and that is saying a lot. There is a physical feeling of calm that comes over us when we return from visiting down state. It is beautiful up here all of time and this slower paced life suits us. When I visit any of the lakes or take a walk in the woods, I truly appreciate every moment. I am that person who constantly looks around and feels blessed to call this area home. The community here is warm and welcomed us with open arms. I’m proud to say the kids are proud Roscommon Bucks.
This is my long way of saying that I will support you in all of the practical ways needed to buy or sell a home but please understand that I am passionate about making sure you get to enjoy what this area has to offer. I will work tirelessly to help you achieve that dream. You can also visit www.upnorthangela.realtor to see more.
